Appointments
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are glad to add you to our records – regardless of your insurance status.
How long does the first appointment take?
Please allow 45 minutes for your first appointment. We want to get to know you without haste and gain an overview of your history.
How do I make a first appointment?
The quickest way is our online booking, or by phone on +49 89 404 613. We only need your name, a way to reach you and your preferred time.
I am in pain. Can I be seen at short notice?
Please call us during opening hours. We keep slots free each day for acute cases. Outside our hours, the emergency dental service of the KZVB will help.
How do I cancel an appointment?
Please let us know by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance, so we can offer the slot to someone else.
What happens if I arrive late?
Let us know briefly. We try to keep the appointment, but with a longer delay we occasionally have to reschedule so that the following patients do not have to wait.
Records, costs and insurance
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance card and, if you have one, your bonus booklet, along with records from your previous dentist such as recent X-rays. Please bring these in person, or give us your previous practice’s details so we can request them – for which we need your consent.
Do I have to request my records from my previous practice myself?
X-rays and findings belong to you. You can request them from your previous practice and bring them along. If that proves difficult, tell us – we are glad to request them for you.
Do you treat both statutory and privately insured patients?
Yes. Statutory, private and self-paying patients are all welcome.
What does treatment cost, and what does my insurance cover?
That depends on the findings and the option you choose. Before any larger treatment you receive a written treatment and cost plan, which we go through with you.
Do you offer payment in instalments?
Yes. Various options are available through our billing partner MCC. Please raise it with us before treatment begins.
Treatment
I am afraid of the dentist. How do you handle that?
Tell us when you book the appointment. We then allow more time, explain each step beforehand and proceed at a pace that works for you.
Do you treat children?
Yes. For a first visit we allow extra time so your child can get to know the practice calmly.
Which languages do you speak?
German and English.
Practice and directions
Are you still the same practice as in the Werksviertel?
Yes. “Zahnärzte im Werksviertel” has become “Zahnärzte Haidhausen”. The team and the way we work are the same; since January 2026 you will find us at Kirchenstrasse 97.
Is the practice air-conditioned?
Yes. All treatment rooms, the waiting area and reception are air-conditioned and can be regulated individually. The system cools in summer and warms in the colder months, so the temperature stays comfortable all year round.
The units are very quiet – the air conditioning was planned from the start when our rooms were refurbished. On longer treatments, many patients find it a noticeable relief.
How do I get to you?
The Haidenauplatz stop is a few steps away and one stop from Ostbahnhof – by tram 21 or buses X30, 54, 58, 68 and 100. By car there is paid street parking nearby, and two spaces close to the practice can be reserved in advance.
All the details are on the Contact & directions page.
Questions about individual treatments
If you are new to Germany, our page for international patients explains how dental insurance works here.
Questions about cost, duration and procedure are answered on the page for each treatment: prevention, whitening, root canal treatment, prosthetics, periodontology and fillings.
