Protecting your data matters to us – as a dental practice we are also bound by medical confidentiality. This website is deliberately built lean: it sets no cookies and embeds no external fonts. Simply opening our pages loads no content from third-party providers.
1. Controller
Dental practice Dr Verena Berger-Kahle · Zahnärzte Haidhausen, Kirchenstrasse 97, 81675 Munich, Germany. Phone +49 89 404 613, email info@haidhausen-zahnaerzte.de. Contact for data protection matters: Dr Verena Berger-Kahle, Kirchenstrasse 97, 81675 Munich, info@haidhausen-zahnaerzte.de. Under current German law our practice is not required to appoint a data protection officer.
2. Server log files
When you access our pages, our hosting provider automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data, referrer, browser type and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after seven days. Hosting provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, René Münnich, Hauptstrasse 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany; the servers are located in Germany and a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or audience measurement services. There is no user profiling, no advertising ID, no social media embedding – and therefore no cookie banner.
4. Fonts, images, scripts
All fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts, content delivery networks, map or video services. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party.
5. Online booking (Dr. Flex)
For online appointments we use Dr. Flex, provided by Dr. Flex GmbH, Stresemannstrasse 21, 10963 Berlin, Germany. The system shows you free slots from our calendar. To book, you enter some personal data there and agree to the Dr. Flex privacy policy during the booking process.
The booking tool is not embedded automatically. On the booking page you first see only a notice and a button. Only when you click it is the Dr. Flex software loaded, establishing a connection to their servers and transmitting your IP address there. If you open the page without clicking, no transmission takes place at all.
The data you enter in the booking form is passed to Dr. Flex solely for the purpose of organising appointments – for confirmations and reminders – and is forwarded automatically to us. Neither we nor Dr. Flex process this data for advertising. No automatic recognition on a later visit is provided for.
Legal basis for loading after your click is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); for the appointment itself, Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Please do not enter detailed health information into the booking form – we discuss your concern in person at the practice. The Dr. Flex privacy policy is available at dr-flex.de/datenschutz.
6. Map link
We embed no map. Our contact pages only contain a link that opens Google Maps in a new window. A connection to Google is established only if you click that link.
7. Contact by email or phone
If you call or write to us, we process your details in order to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no retention periods apply. Please note that unencrypted email is not a secure channel: do not send findings, X-rays or other health data by email. For the same reason we deliberately offer no contact form.
8. Treatment at the practice
The processing of your patient data during treatment is not covered by this website privacy policy. You receive the corresponding information under Art. 13 GDPR at the practice.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach).
